Health And Safety

There are numerous things we look at related to “Health and Safety” during a home inspection. One of the most common items we see while testing the garage doors is the automatic garage door sensors do not work properly. This is a child (or furry friend) crush hazard. Seventy five percent, plus, of the garage doors we test are called out on our reports.

Safety first. Safety precedes code. Always! Other defective conditions may include things like tripping hazards from loose or improperly installed steps, the presence of mold, lack of proper railings, loose railings, electrical issues, or active plumbing leaks. The list could go on, but the above mentioned items are merely the tip of the iceberg. Point is, you and your family’s (to include fur babies,) safety is paramount to us at Above All Else Inspections.
